DIVER LAKE

This area is located close to central Nanaimo, along the Island Highway between Country Club Mall and Nanaimo North Town Centre. Diver Lake is a quiet neighbourhood known for its parks, playgrounds, nature trails and of course, the lake. Diver Lake is a relatively affordable neighbourhood, suitable for families and couples. Like many neighbourhoods in Nanaimo, houses in this area include a mix of older home models and newer developments.

Diver Lake Park

This large park is located right beside the lake and features walking trails, wildlife viewing spots, a fitness circuit and a BMX track.

Long Lake

Long Lake is a very popular place for swimming, kayaking, canoeing and general boating. During the summer months you will find the lake abuzz with activity. The shore is lined with stunning homes, many of which feature their own private docks.
